Okay, so to start off with ABC Mouse, I honestly think that they are trying their best to help the kids learn well, but the fact of the matter is that it is too complicated! We tried it for our 4 year old and he couldn’t understand the concept, found it very challenging, and did not help AT ALL with his speech. If you want your child to have help with colors, 123s, or the ABC’s, then I strongly suggest Busy Beavers on Youtube. After ABC Mouse I started looking around YouTube and I found the Video “Baby Talk | ABC Songs For Children, Learn Alphabet For Kids, Sing Letters & Phonics”. This video is so helpful. There are songs with the ABC’s that are just so much fun singing, interacting activities, and so much more! Also, since it is on YouTube it’s free! I strongly suggest it to parents who did not have success with ABC Mouse! Have a great day, and please try Busy Beavers!!!!
  • Not worth the headache

I loved this app with my son and recently wanted to try it out with my daughter as there have been many changes. We had the app for two days and there were a ton of glitches and she couldn’t continue on her pathway. I cancelled the subscription and deleted the app. Then this morning noticed that I have been billed for the service. Not worth it!! Now I am going to have to contact customer service for a refund since I’m continuing to be billed!

  • Crashes constantly....

    By tiff&
I wanted to give it 5 Stars based off content but it freezes and lags constantly. We click on a story and are waiting forever for it to load but most of the time it never loads and i have to close the app and start over just for it to keep doing the same thing.... I hate not giving it a 5 Star rating but for an app that you have to pay for a subscription to use it should have these bugs already fixed. Please fix!!!
  • App very slow on 2nd generation iPad!!

    By Tris7654
I gave my son my old iPad so that he could use that and I wouldn’t fear of breaking a brand new one. This app works horrible on the second generation iPad it takes at least a minute or two to actually load up one opening the app and when navigating inside the app to different learning activities at least 30 to 45 seconds. Unfortunately my three-year-old son gets impatient when it is not moving as quick as his other apps to do on the iPad. He ends up resorting to going onto YouTube for kids or other apps that he enjoys using. I contacted customer support and they not helpful at all. I had to cancel my ABC mouse service due to this.

  • Kids are disinterested

    By Rajah007
I subscribed a year ago to help my 4 (now 5) year old with his reading. It held his interest for a couple of weeks, but the tasks got too repetitive for him. Now it is a serious chore for him to use the app. I would love for him to enjoy the app, and I love the concept, but it just isn’t enough to hold a child’s interest long term.
  • THIS APP IS AWESOME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

This app is awesome because it has lots of super fun coloring pages and games.
  • Don’t solicit on children’s app!

I think the app is very good. I dislike the fact that my child can access the App Store to potentially acquire alternate learning apps through solicitations found on the original abc app. A pet peeve of mine. I think solicitations should be directed to the adult only, through e-mail or some other method.
