For most of us, we learned to speak our primary language by seeing something and hearing someone speak its name... a total immersion in the world around us. Rosetta Stone helps us to learn a new language in the same way. I am amazed by how easily I am picking up the language! I am very thankful because, a number of months from now, I WILL be fully immersed in a culture I’ve never encountered before. Thanks to Rosetta Stone, I will be a huge step ahead in being able to communicate well. 😃

My school unfortunately has no French class! And I’ve always wanted to learn French, it’s such a beautiful language. I tried Dolingo (pretty sure that’s what it’s called 😂😂) and we’ll...I learned absolutely nothing. I felt like it was just trying to cram definition after definition in my head! Discouraged, I gave up and looked for a app that could teach me French in a way that I WOULD REMEMBER. I came across this app, and It creates connections between the word, how it sounds, and pictures! It makes learning fun, and exiting! I do think that it is rather expensive, But over all love this app! (And I’m finally learning French, Yay!)

I just used it and so far it’s working. They use pictures to help you understand a phrase, which is good because it helps you remember 👍🏽
  • I’m interesting your program.

Yes this app works, but it is really too much money to pay if you want to learn a language. In my opinion, you should go with Duolingo or something, because with that app you don’t have to pay.

This is AMAZING. And above all EASY! I’m going to Paris for 3 days in 4 months time and I’m determined not to embarrass myself as I know ZERO French. I don’t know any other languages besides English. I’m nearing 60 and honestly thought my picking up a language this late in life was probably going to be very frustrating and hopeless. I bought 3 other supposedly “easy” programs before finally breaking down and purchasing Rosetta Stone. I know Rosetta Stone has a great reputation, but for some reason I shied away initially thinking it would be too difficult. Each of the first 3 auditory programs I purchased was difficult for a different reason. I’ve always heard about Rosetta Stone, but it was more expensive and I assumed would be the most academic in its approach (lots of focus on the female, male neuter, verb placement etc.). I feared being bored to death before I even learned to speak my first word. Absolutely not the case. Their method is amazing. I’m able to clearly make out the proper pronunciation and then hear myself and gauge how closely I can match the example. 100% every time I’m proud to report! Whatever your personal style of learning, be it visual, auditory or written, Rosetta Stone combines all 3 in such a way that things immediately take root and they’re sticking with me! If you’re looking for the right product, don’t waste money thinking you’ll gain something by buying a cheaper product or one that promises to teach you the language in 3 months at 10 minutes a day. You’ll be wasting your money and your time. Rosetta Stone is the only way to go! And as for the length of the lessons... they fly by and I’m having so much fun, I lose track of the time and find myself not wanting to stop. I find myself thinking, “Just one more chapter, then I’ll stop”. ;). One chapter becomes two, two becomes three... I hope you enjoy opening yourself up to the fun of a new language as much as I am enjoying this!!! Au revoir et bonne chance!

The use of photos is nice but sometimes I can’t understand if it’s saying “this” or that
