My almost three year old son loves this app! He is constantly asking to play it day and night. The app is simple and easy for him to use, he’s a pro by now. The videos are short and informative. The “games” are a good balance of fun and work. I am amazed at how well his writing skills are progressing! He loves the music videos as well. Thank you for continuing to add new lessons, we look forward to them!

They make you download it then ask for you email and then you have to pay is not for free!!
  • My 4 year old loves this!

I catch him playing it all the time. He’s so proud when he accomplishes a lesson. It’d be 5 stars if it had offline content so he can play even when we don’t have service.

Data mining for profit while charging this price is aweful. Shame on these folks.
  • “Free”?

Not free. I downloaded it expecting to at least have some kind of game for my kids to play, but you need to sign up for a trial to even play it, so why is it advertised as being free? I’m used to downloading “free” games that only let you play to a certain point until you have to pay to upgrade or get farther, but this basically feels like a trap to me. “Give us your payment info so you can have a free trial, which you’ll forget about, and we’ll bill you when it is up because you forgot to cancel.” Such a bummer.
  • Mediocre

I think the idea behind this app is great but it’s content is extremely limited, I didn’t find much difference between my 9 yr olds profile and my 4 yr olds. I thought it also said you could have up to 6 kids (profiles) but I was only able to make 3 which doesn’t work for me since I have 6 kids. My autistic son did enjoy this app but it just doesn’t have enough diversity on it for me to pay $8/month, it was very one note. I would just say do the free trial and see if it is right for you but I didn’t feel it was worth it. I gave it 3 stars because my child did enjoy it and it was easy to cancel my subscription through the App Store and I wasn’t charged, it just wasn’t as good as the advertisement I felt.
  • My three year old doesn’t care for it

So I tried to cancel my subscription two days after getting it my child had absolutely no interest in any of the games or activities on this app. I thought that my subscription has been canceled (through iTunes settings) deleted the app from my phone then went to look this morning to see that I’ve been charged. Not cool. So I went through again and deleted my subscription. I don’t know why it didn’t stop when I canceled it the first time. Very frustrating as money is tight. I wouldn’t mind paying eight bucks if it was something that my kid enjoyed, but this was just a waste.
  • So far so good

So, like others, I love the app. The videos are amazing and ideal for younger learners. I have only just started trying it. I do have a more advanced learner though, and wanted to know if the games got progressively more challenging? For example, spending a lot of time on phonics and sight words for a fairly fluent reader, while isn’t bad, isn’t maybe the best use of her screen time. She still loves playing and I know there is still value there for her, but I’m just curious if the app will eventually recognize her level and adjust the activities?
