Description

Pokémon GO just introduced a new research feature that encourages Trainers to explore the world by completing a variety of objectives with the opportunity to earn helpful rewards and discover powerful Pokémon. Join Trainers across the globe who are discovering Pokémon as they explore the world around them. Pokémon GO is the global gaming sensation that has been downloaded over 800 million times and named “Best Mobile Game” by The Game Developers Choice Awards and “Best App of the Year” by TechCrunch. Venusaur, Charizard, Blastoise, Pikachu, and many other Pokémon have been discovered! Pokémon are out there, and you need to find them. As you walk around a neighborhood, your smartphone will vibrate when there’s a Pokémon nearby. Take aim and throw a Poké Ball… You’ll have to stay alert, or it might get away! Search far and wide for Pokémon and items Certain Pokémon appear near their native environment—look for Water-type Pokémon by lakes and oceans. Visit PokéStops and Gyms—found at interesting places like museums, art installations, historical markers, and monuments—to stock up on Poké Balls and helpful items. Catching, hatching, evolving, and more As you level up, you’ll be able to catch more-powerful Pokémon to complete your Pokédex. You can add to your collection by hatching Pokémon Eggs based on the distances you walk. Help your Pokémon evolve by catching many of the same kind. Choose a Buddy Pokémon to walk with and earn Candy that will help you make your Pokémon stronger. Compete in epic Gym battles You’ll join one of three teams and battle for the ownership of Gyms with your Pokémon at your side. As your Charmander evolves to Charmeleon and then Charizard, you can battle together to defeat a Gym and assign your Pokémon to defend it against all comers. Team up to defeat powerful Raid Bosses A Raid Battle is a cooperative gameplay experience that encourages you to work with up to 20 other Trainers to defeat an extremely powerful Pokémon known as the Raid Boss. If you succeed in defeating it in battle, you’ll have the chance to catch an extra powerful Pokémon of your own! It’s time to get moving—your real-life adventures await! It’s a very interactive and ever improving game. My only wish is that there is an in-game change language feature as my phone is in Spanish, but I would prefer this particular game to be in English.

It’s a good game but NO poke coins for defending a gym. And I try but NO fix the game like epic needs to fix there’s

People who live in rural areas can’t play because there’s nothing around. You may have to drive a half hour to 45 minutes just to find one Pokéstop.

I don’t know why anyone would support Pokemon products or believe in a deity when all this game does is put Pokestops at churches (only certain affiliations of course) and steal information while teasing with bogus Pokemon nearby. This game is exactly why I don’t ever have to believe in such a bogus deity

  • @ Level 36

“Trainers” know it is not easy to get to level 36. I’m addicted. I actually had to quit playing at the one-year anniversary in June 2017 because of an addictive behavior that caused me to total my dad’s truck into a light pole in a big parking lot (not paying attention; looking at my phone for Pokémon & spinning the pokestop) & I also ruined two radiators in our two older vehicles from excessive stop & go driving (I’m actually serious). These major fallouts from my excessive game-play forced me to quit successfully for one whole year when I hit level 35 in June 2017. But recently this April 2018, I got addicted again because of all the NEW Pokémon. I’m now 1/4 through level 36. To regard the rating of the game itself now... that last event was long. I now own 10 Machamps & 10 Hariyamas BUT you’ve made those TWO AWESOMEST battling Pokémon worthless to own for bragging rights. Everyone has AT LEAST a handful of them now. I got my first Machamp in 2016... back when I could BRAG & show it off in a gym tower. WHY in MEWTWO’s name would you put THAT MANY makuhitas & Machops out there for THAT LONG?? An INFESTATION is the term I should use. Also... Why oh WHY is the GPS so FIXATED on walking our trainer’s avatar in the STREET?! We can be sitting AT the gym to battle, but for some reason the trainer is still in the street adjacent to the gym & no matter how hard you shake your phone, your trainer wants to walk in the street instead of sitting the gym where you ACTUALLY are. ALWAYS! It happens too often to KNOW It’s not a GPS mistake on MY phone. Then... I call other Pokémon Goers for a raid; I pick them up, & DRIVE us to the raid with enough people to take a “Latias” down. During the countdown, all players have their Pokémon ready & I get a “Network error.” Oh no... I just used my “premium” raid pass because I used my free one earlier on a dumb executor boss! I BOUGHT that! Countdown occurs & I'm not in the battle. I’ve lost my pass, & the people I drove to the battle are hearing me cussing as they win. They get a ton of rare candies & a legendary Pokémon & I’m just outta luck. Ya know... Don’t make me this mad THIS often. Please. If you’re going to CHARGE MONEY for raid passes, lucky eggs, or whatever... MAKE SURE THE JUNK WORKS!! You do NOT want to get me started on the BS about “no driving.” “No Driving!?” HAHAHAHA!!! Who do you THINK you’re fooling Niantic!? SURE! Cover yourselves with warnings! IT IS IMPOSSIBLE TO PLAY POKÉMON GO WITHOUT DRIVING TO GYMS & POKESTOPS! And NO... NO ONE is getting out of the car to walk around in these locations & wait 5 minutes for them to refresh for another spin. LOL!!!!! Stop acting like you DIDN’T create a game that CREATED at least a HUNDRED THOUSAND “Pokédrivers” on roads slowing down to under 20MPH when they’re passing gyms & POKESTOPS & throwing curveballs at those roadside Pokémon. YOU’VE created it. OWN IT. Like I said... I’ve hit curbs & light poles I didn’t see in lots. The game is ADDICTING. ...and... a light pole totaled my dad’s truck. Yep. I totaled my Dad’s truck on a light pole while playing Pokémon Go. I DO have an ADDICTIVE behavior with this game. I admit... MY decisions to have been THIS erratic & addictive were “conditioned” per my need for pokeballs to keep up with JERK Pokémon that jump out & steal 20 pokeballs. I also overheated the aging radiators in BOTH our family vehicles from very excessive stop & go driving.... believe me; Pokemon Go CONDITIONED this behavior. ANYONE ELSE share a similar story!?!? Shall I get started on the number of POLICE OFFICERS that have pulled me over, questioned me, got me out of my truck, & started verbal battles regarding my rights or lack of rights to park in a parking lot & play a game on my iphone? I guess I can’t really blame them for my creeping around RIGHT NIANTIC!?!? Wanna fix it? EXPAND the poke-stop reach-range to a couple hundred feet. It DOESN'T HAVE TO BE RIGHT ON THE MARK!! If we are THERE, we are THERE. What’s YOUR pressure in doing that? DON’T TEMP PLAYERS TO CLIMB FENCES OR EVEN JUST WALK TOO CLOSE! I’ve had people call police on me for just being too close. That is a MAJOR problem with the game & warnings you put in the game do NOT do a thing & you know this. EXPAND THE RANGE before people get shot at!! I live in Texas where all they have education for is owning & shooting their guns at anything they feel they have the right to shoot at. They CAN’T WAIT for an excuse to actually USE their guns so they feel like some hero for shooting a “Poké-creeper.” We can thank game-applications & movie “entertainment” for conditioning our stupid society this way also; but YOU are also guilty. ...And I pay money for this self-destructive behavior. Smh... ...so anyways I’m going to go start a lucky egg now & evolve a ton of mon ready to evolve. I’ll be driving by all the pokestops & gyms I can while I do it @ 2:30am because THIS IS HOW YIUR GAME WORKS FOR GETTING THE BEST ADVANTAGE! Streaks + lucky eggs = DOPAMINE for Pokémon Goers like me = money for you. Keep making that money Niantic! ...& “conditioning” us as you please. But I’m giving you one star for it :) Anyways... Happy Cash to ya!

Utterly and absolutely GARBAGE! Tried to download this for my nephew and it keeps saying my account doesn’t exist. When I try to recreate an account, it says it already exists. I’ve verified the account and everything and this bs only lead to my nephew wasting his play time watching me try to get him the game...for an hour!!! GARBAGE!

I haven’t been able to play the game in days. I’ve tried everything from restarting my phone to deleting & redownloading the game itself. Still nothing. I’ve had problems with the gps on this game before, but now it doesn’t even work at all....
