I’ve had no problem at all with this app. It’s introduced me to many new anime. Assignation classroom was a great watch. Along with the introduction of the time I was reincarnated as a slime. Again great app with some of the big traditional anime along with interesting new ones to check out.

After Reading Most Of The Other Reviews. A lot of people are complaining about bugs, the app/episodes not loading, and other things like adds??? The other reviewers seem mostly like children/young adults complaining. Blaming the app 4 20 minute episodes not loading when their not on WiFi and they have bad service. WHILE THEIR ENTITLED 2 THEIR OWN EXPERIENCE. IN MY EXPERIENCE AS AN ADULT.I haven’t come across any issues. The App Always Loads fast, episodes always play, I’ve seen 0 bugs, and honestly I pay 6.99 a month and I think it’s worth it. While my only Complaint is they don’t have every anime that I wanna watch/rewatch. I’m sure they’ll add them later, and until they add Angel Beats and Hunter X Hunter I’ll just have try and watch something else. It’s Not cool to complain only about things you don’t like. They definitely have big shows on here like My Hero, Attack On Titan, and older shows like Code Geass and Yu Yu Hakusho.

I PAID FOR A SUBSCRIPTION and it’s saying that I didn’t. But the payment went through. Will be calling to get a refund and will not be getting the app again. (I already tried deleting and reinstalling the app).
  • App is garbage.

The screen is tilted to the left side and you can’t do anything to tilt it any other way. Hard to navigate. The user interface is ugly, clunky, not as smooth and simple to use like Crunchyroll’s app. If I could watch the shows on any other app, I would. There’s a bug when you scroll through multiple shows.

The shows are great, finally a streaming service that has dubbing is perfect. But it’s lackluster since the app has a a lot of downsides that become obvious since being spoiled by VRV, HULU, Netflix, etc. one of the only positives that VRV did not offer when they were with Funimation is looking up anime by genres and popularity, or new to old. Which is a function that should have existed long ago with VRV. I’m glad Funimation has it. The app needs a auto play function, it is lacking hard, when a episode ends it just goes back to the season/episode selection. Which know one has ever needed. I’ll stop the show when I’m ready. You can’t scrub to your specific parts in the show, if you have iPhone X because of the screen back button. So I have to use the 10sec forward button until it passes through which is so annoying especially once it gets into the back button it can’t be touched without backing out of the app altogether. Can’t watch in portrait mode and while this isn’t a must, it makes for being a potential solution to the back button overlaying on the time scrub bar. This needs fix asap. This issues did not exist when they were with VRV.

So, I tried this without the app and on safari and with the app, and when I did it, it sucked both times. So I wanted to watch My hero academia and what happened was when I was halfway through a episode and finally past the ads, the app froze on me. I checked the wifi and it was all full bars so what happened was I had to go back in the episode and try to get to that same spot, and I could not so I had to re watch the episode and all the ads. I finally got back in that spot and it just started lagging where I'd have to spam the pause button to play at least 10 seconds of this I still had full wifi! And the app is bugging my phone, the audio lags and the quality lowers every few minutes. Safari version is just as bad. They even say this is Free anime with dubs when really it's just free for one month. Then you gotta get out the credit card. False advertising, low quality, and the app is buggy. I would recommend the safari version better in my opinion.
  • Great service, terrible app.

The service itself is fantastic. Magnificent, even. The app on the other hand has things to learn from Netflix, such as not crashing and the ability to freely skip to certain parts without long loading times. You’re better off watching this service on your computer.
