  • Needs to fix app

The app needs to be fix, I tried to add an anime show to my queue but sometimes it doesn’t work, so I had to add it a second or third times to stay on my queue. Another thing is I tried scrolling through my queue but it keeps bouncing me around and I keep scrolling back up to my queue again but it keeps bouncing me around again. If the developers can just fix the 2 problems that would be great.
  • Streaming/watching Seems fine to me?

** sorry had to add something to my review. Kihp! A.k.a the previous reviewer. What mobile device are you using that allows you to watch shows AND keep playing music or other audio/videos apps in the background?? I don’t want one, I’m just going to avoid anything that would do this as it would be confusing as hell to have an anime playing AND some webchat broadcast and/or music video playing at the same time! Also, these shows are coming to us? When?! Some of these are decades old and you can barely find them online much less purchase a DVD of them for less then $30-$80. What media/year are you living in? Your points about the anime and the access are lame! I’m sure there are people who can listen/watch 3-4 different media formats and types at the same time AND not have to turn down 1-2 of them, most of us can only do one to two at a time. Asking the programmers for this kind of capability is selfish of you since it’s NOT a common mental ability most humans have! That’s the disagreements! The agreements are that yes, if I try to skip forward or backwards too(!) much, it lags and sometime (not often) freezes, perhaps if you’re listening to multiple audios at the same time, you will have to do this a LOT (kihp! Looking at you!) I am patient though, I am streaming and not downloading the shows. Funimationnow streaming is new to the scene when compared with crunchyroll and YouTube, so I forgive a few glitches for having the ability to watch old school anime dubbed in English** -Original review- Most recent poster said there are issues with the app and especially for the price it charges. I’m unsure what OS she/he is using but I am having zero issues with this app. I have a subscription to crunchyroll roll as well and while I do enjoy subtitled anime, it’s kinda nice to be able to do something else for a few minutes and NOT have to stop/rewind to read what they said that I missed. So far, all the Funimation vids are dubbed in English! They have a ton of older anime’s that I LOVE! (Ex: original Record of Lodoss War, Scrapped princess), and newer ones like My Hero Academia <- kinda naruto-ish story line but it’s hard to come up with new plots these days... just ask Micheal Bay! ;P Anyway, whatever the previous version had for bugs and quirks, this one works fine on iPhoneX/latest iOS.
  • Just needs some small adjustments.

It would be nice if the screen would rotate horizontally instead of being fixed. If I’m watching plugged in my charging cord gets bent. The play and skip buttons are small would be nice to have them a little larger.

Every time I would try to get premium it would say,” alert purchase could not be set at this time.” Or something like that it’s sad because I really want to watch my hero academia please fix this bug so I can watch it please Funimation please....................
  • Pretty good!

I prefer dub when watching anime because it’s easier for me to follow and it increases my enjoyment, so naturally this app is perfect for me. I’m just sad that it runs a little slow, I have to click the start button a few times before I get a response and when I’m looking for a show to watch, it’s difficult to scroll through the different titles... other than that though this app is pretty great :)
  • Wouldn’t recommend it

Two star because it at least works, hasn’t crashed on me, and I can use it on my phone. Works better as a Roku app. Problems: the ten second skip actually only does 8 seconds. Every time you press the 10 second skip it doesn’t stack, so when you are trying to skip the recap and opening cuz you have seen it a hundred times and have already just seen the last episode, it takes longer then it needs to take. Regular pauses after you skip. Not becuase I paused it, but because the system is so poorly optimized it’s trying to think, but both YouTube and Hulu app have no problems with that and are loaded instantly if not in milliseconds. I have to put subtitles back on each episode. Dub or sub, I always have to turn them on for each individual episode. Really stupid that I have to do that. Again, it’s so weird that the Roku app works so much better, and keeps my subtitle on! Fix your app! I love to be able to watch this on my phone when I’m not home, but their is so many inconveniences and just clunky. Look at what YouTube and Hulu is doing, copy them, optimize your code! In Spend 6 bucks a month for Funimation, I expect it to be more than broken to barely functional.
