This app is an UNOFFICIAL fanfiction Reader for the Archive Of Our Own (AO3) site. I created it because I am a fan of fanfiction, and I wanted to help people access the stories they love. No subscription is needed to use this app. Downloading and using this app is not a substitute for getting an Invitation to post stories on AO3; nobody needs an Invitation to read stories on AO3, or give kudos. Archive Of Our Own is created, hosted and maintained by a team of volunteers, and they do not ask anyone to pay to share or read stories on the site. If you are kind enough to give me a "tip" that money goes to me, not to The Organization for Transformative Works or AO3. Thank you for using Unofficial fanfiction Reader for the Archive Of Our Own (AO3) site! Search your favorite fanfics by multiple tags, exclude tags, search by fandom, fanfic title, author, characters and other options; read fanfics right from the app with no need to open them in separate reader app, download the best fanfics for later offline access. Log in to AO3 to access your bookmarks (favorite bookmarked fanfics), check your History, leave kudos (likes) and view and leave comments for the fanfics. Night Reading Mode: switch to day/night theme by using icon on Navigation Bar while reading the fan fiction story. Fullscreen mode: tap in the centre of the screen while reading the fanfic to enter full screen, tap again to go back to normal view. When you launch the app, it shows list of fanfics from AO3 main page. To filter results use Search option. To view fanfic, click on the item with its description. Then you will be taken to the fics details page which show all the information including author name, title, number of chapters, kudos, comments, views and other info about the story (fandom, characters, relationships etc). As AO3 doesn’t have any API, so issues do occur. Thanks for understanding. The application includes Auto-Renewable Subscription (Prosub). Once you have purchased it, the subscription starts. Since then every week you will get digitally generated recommendations of fan fics (fan fiction works). Subscription length is 1 month and it its auto-renewable. The subscription price is 0.99$ per month. Payment will be charged to iTunes Account at confirmation of purchase. Subscription automatically renews unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24-hours before the end of the current period. Account will be charged for renewal within 24-hours prior to the end of the current period, and identify the cost of the renewal. Subscriptions may be managed by the user and auto-renewal may be turned off by going to the user's Account Settings after purchase. No cancellation of the current subscription is allowed during active subscription period. Privacy Policy and Terms of Use link: Any unused portion of a free trial period, if offered, will be forfeited when the user purchases a subscription to that publication.

  • All the content, not the best organized

    By Izzy_gr
I appreciate that the app exists and everything it does; but it has a couple issues: -searches need to be exactly worded -can’t sort within a tag (e.g. if you click an author’s name, you can’t sort the results)
  • Won’t let me bookmark!

    By Sadie207
So far it seems great but I got the app so I could save my favorite stories easier but it won’t let me bookmark. Don’t know why but it might just be me.
  • Too much bATTERY Use

The app uses too much batttery in too little time
  • Help

The bookmark menu won’t download or anything as it’s telling me to log in even though I already am. I can’t download anything and I have tried logging back in as well as hitting try again. I’ve downloaded the app twice since it’s first glitch and it’s done nothing to help fix it.
  • Syncing

    By Blueberriesnsuga
I’m on a new device, on my old one I was able to sync with my ao3 account but now it’s not letting me. Other than that the app is great.

Everytiiiiime I try to save something or like something it says I have to log in and then it crashes the app. Also the comments r just messed up in general. Lastly it's saying I have to go to settings to update but I can't find settings? Other than those things the app is a LOT better than I thought it would be!
  • Subscription does nothing.

    By cdbyford
I paid for the Pro subscription for months. It’s a nice reader on the phone, but the folder and save feature to organize my fics literally worked once. Constantly have to reload fics to get to my previous read location. Hate being forced to the search screen upon open. Sent a list of things to developer. No reply. No fixes. Not worth paying any subscription at this point. I wish it were different. I’d pay for quality.
  • Doesn’t work and it makes you pay?

    By Quickening
It won’t allow me to access my own stories or sync with my account on Ao3. And I think unless you pay it won’t give recs for stories or such. I refuse to pay a subscription to read fanfiction that is available to read FOR FREE on the net. I can easily access Ao3 on my phone or tablet browser. Aside from that, I feel that to make any type of profit off of fanfiction is morally wrong, it’s ILLEGAL. I won’t support an app like this. There are other fanfiction apps that don’t charge money to use. Deleting.
  • This app used to be great

    By Slashley87
9/22/18. My app started to recently crash whenever I opened it, so I was forced to update it. (In general I update slowly since Apple admitted that their updates cause older phones to slow down) Suddenly, half of my downloads are gone, and apparently I can’t download anymore because there is now a limit of 30?? From unlimited to 30?? Booo hiss. That’s quite a change that wasn’t listed. And my app is still crashing a bit and there are a ton of ads suddenly. Such a shame since this app was useful. The search has always been a bit wonky, but overall it worked well, especially if I knew an author name or description beforehand. I admit you sort of have to use this app in conjunction with searching on the regular website first. Its main appeal for me was being able to download works so that I could read when not connected to WiFi. Now I’m going to have to switch to a competitor. Thanks for getting greedy Fanfic Pocket. D:

Inbox still doesn’t work. I’m signed in and everything and when I check that I am it says Error.
