  • Don’t expect the extras

    By ILoveCab
If you do the “complete this offer” for more diamonds don’t expect to ever receive them no matter how much you try to work with them. If you watch a video, fine , you will get your 11 diamonds but after that there is no guarantee. I completed 2 different offers for larger amounts of diamonds and have not received them. I followed the instructions and emailed them. After they reply and then you reply back your email goes to the bottom of the list, so expect to wait a month before hearing back. Then they will tell you that they awarded them and if you don’t have them contact the company directly. It’s a scam just so you will sign up for stuff you don’t want.
  • Great Game but also awful

I love this game it is so much fun and I love designing the rooms but there is one big problem. Every time I enter a new challenge my items that I have bought and would like to use are not there then I look to shop and I see it and it says I have not purchased it when I did! Multiple times! This is just insane then I try to by new items and loose all my money or create and awful room with the stuff I do have! Fix this please!
  • Fun, but agree with others re: shortcomings

There is something I have not seen addressed - can items please have the option of being FILTERED BY PRICE? Most of us are broke and are forced to purchase hideous items we at best dislike and at worst make us want to puke - I fail to see the need to force us to trudge through ridiculously expensive and hideously ugly stuff we can’t afford and are not at all interested in - while we are actually able to realistically utilize items that we are in possession of. I also completely fail to see the need to purchase a specialty or specific item such as an accent table or stool or pouf or night table or even a cocktail table, that end up being partially or entirely hidden by the furniture one is forced to place them behind - again, while perfectly reasonable and actually serviceable items of a similar category are more than available in our inventories. Several item styles and classes such as accent tables, poufs, stools, night tables, are quite interchangeable and serve entirely and exactly the same purpose - something to sit upon, step upon, place a lamp or a plant upon, serve as a filler next to another piece of furniture. A free recycled cardboard box could serve the same purpose. I fail to understand the need of the requirement to purchase additional, and unfortunately offered, hideous, and very expensive, items, when those that we have and already have spent lots of good money on, are perfectly useable, recyclable, and acceptable. Including a cardboard box that could be picked up at no charge at any store. Is this field of design not intended to encourage creativity? But this program does not encourage creativity. It demands high expenditures. Most prizes are useless as they are too ugly to use, even when one is even given the opportunity to use them at all. I am provided with, for example, numerous pink or turquoise and such type prizes - ugh. Whether I like pink or turquoise or whatever or not, pink / turquoise / whatever furniture / rug items are not realistically useable in real life, or otherwise. Prizes should be useful, useable, reusable, NEUTRAL items. If I buy something I should be able to use it forever, not just five times. My options for accessories should not wear out. If I like something enough to buy it, it should remain available forever. I should also be able to throw away / toss / dump / recycle/ SELL / or otherwise dispose of items I find hideous / can not / will not / am unable to / refuse to use and/or hang on my walls or put on my floors. Thank you for your butt ugly prize or accomplishment; I don’t wanna use it, please let me get rid of it. Just because I don’t and/or am unable to utilize something does by no means mean that another, more creative designer than I, is unable to utilize it - give others an opportunity! It is not fair, at all, to lump beginning and/or designers of little means, with very little stuff, with more experienced or wealthy designers with larger amounts of stuff.
  • Surprisingly Addicting

I would recommend this game. The only thing that could make it better is if they started to allow you to search by price. It sometimes gets tedious, time consuming and uninteresting if you don’t have a ton of money or diamonds saved.
  • I love this game....BUT

    By Nisha8219
I really enjoy playing this game... however, unlike the similar game/app “my home”, it lacks the voting on INDIVUALITY, in which I agree with the other reviewers, hurts ones score. The game will charge for diamonds and gives only a limited supply of quality and stylish inventory which limits your design qualifications. I’ve seen some designs that have the SAME inventory as everyone else receive the scoring of 5 as well as those who don’t even follow the requirements receive the scoring of 4 or higher. Either way, I enjoy this game. The only thing I would change would be increase the amount of inventory to 10 instead of 5.
  • More interested in money than player experience

    By Not Gonna Spend RWM!
Don't bother downloading this game unless you have a LOT of disposable income you are willing to burn buying things that are necessary to actually enjoy this game. And, buyers beware.... you will have to purchase the same items over and over again, because you are only "leasing" them for limited use! Greedy game developers.

  • Love the game but the customer service is nonexistent

I have been playing for over a year and would spend money to purchase diamonds. About three weeks ago, the site was doing a lot of updating and I lost my entire inventory. I have sent in so many tickets but usually just get an automated email back. A few times I received an email telling me to be patient. I have also seen that this has happened to quite a few people and they are being ignored too. I haven't spent any money on this app since this happened and can't in good faith give my money to a company that ignores its customers. Update: I have contacted them many times by email and through the app. It has not helped. *****UPDATE***** It has now been well over a month since my inventory disappeared. I received several automated responses and some that said to be patient. When I posted on this site, a representative of the company responded. She stated that customer support is very important to DH. She asked that I make a list of some items that were missing. This was no easy task and it took a lot of time combing through all of my old designs and then typing a list of names and descriptions. I received one or two more emails from the representative commiserating with me and saying "I know how frustrating this must be for you" and ensuring that she gave the list to the developers. This was somewhere between the 6th or 8th of February. I told her that it is very cruel to ask a customer to send in a list and still do nothing to help. As of now, I have sent three emails and no longer even receive an automated reply. I am deeply disappointed in DH.
